Rihanna’s Favorite Breakfast to Eat Every Morning Might Surprise You
Rihanna tends to keep her personal life, especially her eating habits, private. But every so often, she shares a rare glimpse into her foodie habits — like when she posted about her love for McNuggets with caviar, or revealed her famous chicken pasta recipe. Now, fans are discovering yet another secret: When it comes to breakfast, there’s one particular combination she just can’t resist.
A clip of Rihanna’s personal chef, Debbie Solomon, is making the rounds again, which dishes the details on the pop star’s morning routine. “Well, Caribbean girls, you know we love to eat,” Solomon says in an interview on The Doctors. She then goes on to explain how she prepares one specific dish for Rihanna every single day.
So, what does the star tend to eat most mornings? “Rihanna has four boiled eggs, one slice of toast with the crust cut off, and a fruit bowl filled with berries, mango, pineapples, and papaya,” says Solomon.
But that’s not all. There’s one condiment that Rihanna insists on having on the table at all times: scotch bonnet pepper sauce, specifically the one from the brand Eaton’s. “So basically, she has this with every meal,” says Solomon. If you’ve never tried it, this topping packs a bit of heat with bright, bold flavors, so a small drizzle is all you need to upgrade any dish.
While Solomon doesn’t share the exact recipe for Rihanna’s breakfast, based on her interview, it looks like she starts by hard-boiling the eggs; uses whole-wheat or multi-grain toast; and picks a fresh assortment of berries, mango, pineapple, and papaya, which she chops up into a fruit salad. As for the scotch bonnet pepper sauce, it’s likely drizzled over the eggs.
In the interview, Solomon also reveals that Rihanna’s favorite dish is a spicy curry chicken — and it’s pretty specific. Turns out, she only likes drumsticks in her stew. While we may never get a full look into the famous singer’s kitchen secrets, one thing’s for sure: When it comes to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Rihanna doesn’t compromise on flavor or heat.
