Rihanna Gives Birth to Baby Number Two

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are parents of two.

The "Diamonds" singer welcomed the pair's second son earlier this month, TMZ reported today.

Sources close to the situation told the outlet that Rihanna gave birth in Los Angeles on August 3. The name of the baby has not been revealed, but we are aware it starts with an "R."

The stars are already parents to son RZA, who was born in May 2022. The now parents of two were friends for years before making their relationship official in 2020.

Rihanna opened up about her hopes and expectations for motherhood in various interviews over the course of her pregnancy.

At this year's Met Gala, she explained to Entertainment Tonight in a red-carpet interview how her second pregnancy felt "so different" from her first.

"It's so different from the first one," she told the outlet. "No cravings. Tons of nausea. Everything's different, but I'm enjoying it." She added, "I feel good. I feel energetic."

She also spoke of baby RZA: "I'm in love. I'm obsessed and I don't even feel guilty about it," the Grammy winner said.

Rocky added, "[He's] growing big. Beautiful, happy baby."

She also spoke of motherhood in a previous interview, in 2022.

"When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, There's no way I'm going to go shopping in no maternity aisle. I'm sorry—it's too much fun to get dressed up," Rihanna told Vogue. "I'm not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing."
