Riva’s Sleek New 27-Foot Runabout Gives Its Iseo Model a Refresh
Riva’s gorgeous new vessel is ready to hit the water.
The Italian boatmaker’s new 27-foot runabout, the Iseo Super, made its world debut at boot Düsseldorf just last month, and now we’re getting a better look at the mahogany masterpiece. The Iseo Super builds upon Riva’s famed Iseo model, which was unveiled in 2011, bringing both tech and style into the next decade thanks to this refresh.

With a maximum beam of about eight feet (2.5 meters), the Iseo Super has all the details you’d expect from Riva: elegant, smooth lines, high-gloss striped mahogany finishes, and luxe steel detailing. There are some new tricks up this vessel’s sleeve, though: The windscreen has been given an upgrade, while the hull is decked out in the brand’s new Vulcan Grey hue.
The runabout’s cockpit dinette has been revamped, too, for more space while you lounge on the U-shaped sofa. The area also features an electric table that can be stowed away when it’s not in use. Or head to the long sunpad over the engine for more relaxation and a dip off the rear swim platform. Those modern design cues extend to the helm, which offers up a nine-inch chartplotter display to help navigate your next jaunt.
As for grunt, the standard Iseo Super is powered by a Volvo Penta D4-300A engine, which delivers a cool 300 hp at 3,500 rpm. That motor is paired with Volvo’s Aquamatic DP-1 Duoprop to give the runabout a cruising speed of 33 knots and a top speed of 38 knots. If you want to take it up a notch, you can opt for the Volvo Penta V-8 350 CE for faster cruising. (There’s also an electric version of the Iseo, if you’re so inclined, which is Riva’s first all-electric model. It made its world debut at the 2024 boot Düsseldorf.)
Riva has plenty of other boats on the horizon, too. Last September, the boatmaker unveiled the 70 Metri. The 230-foot hybrid superyacht is the company’s longest yet, measuring a solid 53 feet longer than the current flagship. As for the smaller 54 Metri, you can expect to see the first iteration of that vessel launch this year. Happy cruising, indeed.
