Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Makes A Case For Extreme Barrel-Leg Jeans
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is no stranger to daring fashion trends – indeed, if anything, her thought process seems to be 'the more extreme, the better' at the moment. In the past few weeks alone, the 37-year-old model has stepped out in a super-sultry sheer black lingerie ensemble, worn head-to-toe netted mesh, and made a case for bringing back the most divisive of hosiery trends: fishnet tights.
Most recently, however, the model has turned her attentions away from all things naked dressing and put her weight behind the most controversial denim trend of the season instead.

Sharing pictures on Instagram from a recent trip to the Spanish town of Sant Martí Vell with Tiffany & Co., Huntington-Whiteley posted a photo of herself wearing a particularly extreme pair of barrel leg jeans.
Also known as horseshoe jeans, the trending style features an exaggerated tapered leg with a slim ankle and ultra-baggy knee – and was originally seen on the Alaïa runway for AW23. The love-it-or-hate-it style has been slowly making its way into the mainstream ever since, but we have no doubt that Huntington-Whiteley's stamp of approval will help catapult barrel-leg jeans to even higher heights.
Huntington-Whiteley styled her dark blue pair – that are most likely a design by Alaïa – with a white high-neck, sleeveless knitted vest, black-and-white dalmatian-print heels, two chunky gold Tiffany & Co. cuffs and a boho-esque string necklace.
