Ryan Seacrest Fans Are Emotional Over His Milestone Instagram Update
Ryan Seacrest is expanding on a project he continues to hold close to his heart.
For the last two decades, the Wheel of Fortune host has proudly been working on his philanthropic work with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. The organization works to bring state-of-the-art media centers (appropriately called "Seacrest Studios") to adolescent patients in hospitals all over the United States, giving them the chance to see what the world of media is like while they're in treatment.
While Ryan has opened up 14 Seacrest Studios across the country (with the first one launching in Atlanta, Georgia in 2010), it seems like he's adding one more to the list. In an official announcement made on December 3, he revealed the Ryan Seacrest Foundation will be opening up a milestone 15th Seacrest Studio at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida in 2025.
"This space will serve as a hub of creativity and healing for patients and families. With over 300 inpatient beds and an annual impact on more than 500K patients, Nicklaus Children’s provides care both locally and internationally — making it the perfect home for our next studio," Ryan wrote on Instagram.
Upon seeing the heartfelt update about the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, folks celebrated Ryan and his charitable work.
"Thank you for all you do, you’re a good person 👍🏻," one person wrote in the comments. "This is just an amazing achievement! Congratulations 🎊 Your compassion is beyond measure! ❤️," another penned. "Wonderful news! Congrats Ryan to you and your family for your compassion [and] generosity. Helping patients and their families to make their stay a bit better and allow them to express themselves," a different follower added.
While it will still be a few months before the 15th Seacrest Studio opens in Miami, Ryan's passion project will certainly be something to remember. What's more, Matthew A. Love, president and CEO of Nicklaus Children's Health System, is appreciative of this new collaboration with the foundation.
"Providing enriching experiences like Seacrest Studios to our pediatric patients combined with expert care and an elevated level of service is what makes us the hospital where your child matters most," he said in an official statement. "We are incredibly grateful to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation for choosing Nicklaus Children’s and helping us create a space for children and families to play and creatively express themselves while being treated at the hospital."
