Sangita Patel stuns in ankle-length dress, despite her 'shortie' height: 'Beautiful'
The host said her stylist proved "shorties" can wear ankle-length dresses.
Sangita Patel has left her fans in awe with her recent Instagram post.
Over the weekend, the "ET Canada" host shared an Instagram reel of herself effortlessly posing in a purple, faux-leather, sleeveless maxi dress from House Of CB.
She tied the stunning ensemble together with transparent high heel sandals and wore her hair in soft loose waves.
In her caption, Patel confidently challenged height norms and embraced the ankle-length trend, thanks to her stylist, Maria Chowdhery.
"To all my fellow shortie’s [Maria Chowdhery] proved that we can wear a dress to our ankles — this is a first!" she penned.
"The cut is simple and holds onto your curves," Patel added. "This is a keeper, right?!"
The reel was in response to fans wanting the "deets" on the dress, after a first post from a wedding Patel attended.
In the comments of her post, fans swooned over Patel's daring look.
"Nice colour on you!" one person pointed out.
Another added: "Omg! You look incredible! I love it!"
"That dress and colour look gorgeous on you," someone else commented.
"Stunning! So beautiful," a fan wrote, while another shared, "Your on-air looks are always so fire. This dress looks amazing on you, and thanks for the short people representation!"
In April, Patel dazzled fans with an Instagram Reel showing off her outfit of the day, and it was one for the books. In the video, Patel posed in a black, backless jumpsuit that featured "dramatic" trumpet sleeves.
She paired the bold outfit with a slick ponytail extension and a pair of sequinned silver high-heel sandals from Jennifer Lopez's collaboration with Revolve.
"I have tricks up my sleeve," Patel quipped in the caption. "Hmm. Catsuit, jumpsuit or bat-suit? Not sure what to call it, but sleeves to the ground… the drama!"
"Slick ponytail is from JLo's line. Heels are from JLo's line as well. Yeah, I felt @jlo within me with this ensemble!," the Toronto Ont.-native added.
