From Santas to Swifties: Videos show fun Christmas decorations and lights across US

The holiday season, especially Christmas, is a time of year when enthusiasm is encouraged, even praised.

This year is no exception, with people all over the country pulling out all the stops to share good tidings and cheer with everyone around them through festive LED-light displays, massive Santa Claus inflatables, or perhaps decking out their home in Taylor Swift-themed decorations.

Most, if not all, expressions of holiday cheer depicted below were complete ahead of Christmas, so loved ones, neighbors, and community members could delight in the magic of the season.

USA TODAY collated a handful of the most memorable displays of holiday spirit in video-form for your viewing pleasure below.

Videos show over-the-top Christmas decorations across US

A home in Birmingham, Alabama stuns the neighborhood with the sheer magnitude of its Santa Claus hat, which will light the way for Kris Kringle on Christmas Day.

A Texas-based company organized a Christmas light show with 5,000 brightly lit drones in the night sky, giving millions a chance to witness a one-of-a-kind aerial display they will never forget.

About 50 homes in a Utah neighborhood showed up and showed out, electing to put a giant Santa Claus to greet all from the front lawn.

One dedicated Swiftie family in Illinois have banded together to celebrate "Swiftmas," putting an intricate outdoor display together for the second year in a row.

"Lights of Joy," one of the largest residential Christmas light displays in Georgia, returned to illuminate the community with over 1.2 million LED lights.
