Sarah Jessica Parker Borrowed This Unexpected Fall Styling Tip From Katie Holmes

We really don't need to wonder what Sex and the City would look like if it took place in 2020 because Sarah Jessica Parker has been serving us so many over-the-top Carrie Bradshaw quarantine looks. It's almost like she knows we have nothing to do all day but stare at photos of her visiting her store in New York.
For her most recent visit, Parker took a fall styling tip right out of Miss Katie Holmes's playbook. Of course, it was from one of Holmes's more recent adventurous looks where she successfully made the case for sweatpants as real pants by styling a pair from Mango with a blazer. Sweatpants' return was imminent what with everyone wearing them every single second of every single day for months but their recent reemergence in the fall is surprising. Turns out you can't get tried of them if you actually wear the hell out of them like Holmes and SJP. Plus, sweatpants aren't a far cry from the Ugg boots ever single supermodel is wearing out in public these days.
Parker didn't pair her cream pair of joggers with a blazer but instead chose to dress them up with a Holmes and Amal Clooney fall go-to: black over-the-knee boots. Of course the glitter dots all over the boots made them extra Carrie but a simple black boot that's already on sale for Prime Day will do for all of us who are more a Samantha. It's also worth noting one key accessory: a Pretty Connected chain for her mask!
