1) Julia von Boehm Collaborates With Nomasei
JVB x Nomasei
$460.00
Who: Julia von Boehm and Nomasei
What: New collaboration
Where: Online at nomasei.com
Why: For its latest collaboration, Nomasei called in the big guns: celebrity stylist and creative director Julia von Boehm, who’s worked with the likes of Gigi Hadid and Nicole Kidman. The sustainable Parisian shoe brand’s best-selling Nono and Trench loafers both get the JVB treatment in multi-colored leather, made using leftover scraps, as well as hand-placed lead-free Bohemia crystals. 2) Miu Miu and New Balance Release Second Collaboration
Miu Miu x New Balance
miumiu.com
$950.00
Who: Miu Miu
What: New Balance sneaker collaboration
Where: Online at miumiu.com and at Miu Miu stores worldwide
Why: It’s hard to think of a brand that defines the zeitgeist quite like Miu Miu. From reinventing sporty classics to designing coveted accessories, the label is on a winning streak. It makes perfect sense, then, that it’s bringing back its much-anticipated, sold-out-in-seconds New Balance collaboration. Having originally debuted on the SS22 runway, the partnership finds its footing once more with a similar color palette, but different materials—this time featuring a faded cognac leather and damaged denim. If you see a pair you like, don’t wait on it, because they’ll be gone faster than you can say “Miuccia Prada.”

Edie Parker x The Gemini Bake
edie-parker.com
$1295.00
Who: Edie Parker

Why: The “is it cake?” trend that stormed the internet during the first pandemic summer defined the times—a bit insane, but a perfectly delusional escape from reality. Now, Edie Parker is cake-ifying its coveted acrylic pieces with the help of Samantha Raye of The Gemini Bake, who added her signature retro cake swirls and rosettes to the range, which includes a tabletop lighter. Be careful, because these definitely look good enough to eat.

Now, almost 40 years later, Alaïa returns stateside with Pieter Mulier at the helm. His ethos, not unlike Alaïa’s, stems from a deep love of femininity and art. The clean and modern store will also act as a gallery of sorts, featuring various artworks that inspire Mulier, like the Robert Rauschenberg prints pictured here, which look great next to his couture offerings (see: this Rihanna-approved print).
