See all the fashion from Royal Ascot 2024
Royal Ascot is back for 2024 and the guests look happier than ever to be returning to the famed equestrian event in the sunshine.
Every June, celebrities and members of the royal family are spotted enjoying the proceedings. Queen Elizabeth II was famously a big fan of the races, and an ever-present figure at Ascot in particular (look back at the Queen enjoying the Royal Ascot over the years, here), and now her family continue that legacy.
The races have always acted as a showcase for not only the horses and jockeys but for guests to wear their favourite frocks and finery. While the trends may change with every passing year, the rules remain the same in the royal enclosure: hems must be knee-length or longer, shoulders should be sufficiently covered and above all, do not, under any circumstances, arrive without a hat.
Below, find our edit of the best style spotted at this year's Royal Ascot so far – and, if you want more Ascot excitement, then head here to explore how trackside fashion has changed over the past 100 years.
