Selena Gomez Channels An Old Hollywood Cinderella At The Golden Globes
After wearing a white suit and a pink minidress at the Palm Springs International Film Festival over the weekend, Selena Gomez channeled a little 'Cinderella meets Jackie O,' as she put it to E!, at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday night.
Her dress was a custom Prada column gown with apron skirt detailing. In terms of jewellery, Gomez accessorised with Tiffany & Co. pieces. More photos of her full length dress surfaced from inside the ceremony:

Gomez had two individual nominations at last night's ceremony: Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for her work in Emilia Pérez and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Only Murders in the Building.
Gomez was competing with Wicked’s Ariana Grande in the first category. She revealed that the singer was quick to congratulate her on the nomination. 'Ariana texted me, and it was the sweetest note and it was about six in the morning,' Gomez told Variety. 'We sent each other voice messages. It was very exciting.' In the end, though, the award went to Zoe Saldaña, who starred alongside Gomez in Emilia Pérez.
Gomez spoke with ELLE for the Women in Hollywood issue about what she wished she knew about the industry before entering it at such a young age. Gomez started acting on Barney when she was 10, then went on to star on the Disney Channel.
'I have no regrets, and I have a fantastic family, and there were rules laid down by my parents, and I’m appreciative of that,' Gomez prefaced. 'However, I don’t think I would’ve done it very young if I was thinking of myself now. There were a lot of things that I felt stunted by. Then adding a lot of pressure from a lot of people didn’t help me develop a sense of self in my twenties. It was a very difficult time. I live with it every day. I try my hardest to stay positive about everything and focus on things like this [movie] that really make me happy. But I would just say maybe wait and have a little bit of a life.'
