Selena Gomez’s latest look is proof you don’t have to sacrifice style in order to stay warm this winter.
The “Look at Her Now” singer arrived at a recent meet and greet for her latest collaboration with Puma in a surprisingly affordable winter pick. Dressed in a $540 tweed shirt and $380 matching trousers from the brand Totême, Gomez bundled up for the New York City streets in Everlane’s Re:Down Sleeping Bag Puffer.
Retailing for $261, the sustainably-made puffer is an affordable and sleek way to stay warm this winter. Made from 100 per cent recycled materials, the outer shell is made using water-repellent recycled polyester, while the inner filling comes from recycled down pillows and comforters.
With all the warmth of a sleeping bag, this coat offers almost head-to-toe protection from the elements, and according to the Everlane website is suited for temperatures of 10 to 30°F (-1 to -12°C).
Although it’s a fairly new addition to Everlane’s lineup of outerwear, it’s already gained a 4.6 star rating from more than 200 reviews.
“This jacket is great,” raved one five-star reviewer. “I ordered this one in place of a more expensive jacket that was not warm enough for Montreal winters. Would recommend for sure.”
“I live in Chicago and this coat keeps me warm and comfortable even in the worst weather,” added another. “It is super light and oversized enough for layering underneath. HIGHLY recommend!”
Due to the oversized cut, some shoppers have noted that they preferred the fit after sizing down. However, if you’re a fan of a slightly looser cut, this jacket is basically a winter dream come true.
