Selena Gomez Posts Footage of Her Volunteering to Support L.A. Wildfire Relief
Selena Gomez got out in the field to support victims of the L.A. wildfires. The singer posted footage of herself and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, volunteering today on her Instagram Story. They were helping distribute emergency supplies, which appeared to include food, based on the videos Gomez shared.
In one Instagram Story, Gomez called out the heroism of emergency responders, writing, “Grateful for these individuals.”
Gomez’s beauty company, Rare Beauty, also shared that it had “assembled emergency care kits with essentials for evacuation centers and made donations to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and World Central Kitchen, who are on the ground providing immediate aid.”
Additionally, “We continue to support the Rare Impact Fund’s non-profit partners, providing mental health support to young people—ensuring that now, more than ever, they have the resources they need. We know this will be a long journey of healing and grieving for the place we call home, so we encourage you to keep the momentum in supporting our community to rebuild.”

The company shared footage of beauty product donations it made to Altadena Teen Girls Fire Recovery and called out the organization for its good work.
Meghan Markle also volunteered with the group, appearing in a video Altadena Girls shared on Monday.
Us Weekly reported that Meghan came with bags of new clothes and beauty products that she put together through her foundation, Archewell. She also brought lunch for volunteers.
