Selena Gomez Is All Smiles in Her ‘B’ Ring After Saying She’s ‘Leaving Insta’

Selena Gomez may not be leaving Instagram after all.

On December 8, Gomez showed fans she's not taking all the discourse over her love life too seriously by sharing a new photo on Instagram Stories, despite a previous statement that she would be “leaving Insta for awhile.” The comment was one of the pop star's many responses to fans after hard-launching her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco on December 7.

In this latest photo Gomez can be seen smiling in her leather jacket and winter scarf as she holds a cup of something warm, showing off her festive red manicure with that sparkling “B” ring on her right ring finger.

After confirming her relationship with Blanco in the comments section of the Instagram account @popfactions on December 7, Gomez got into it with fans who disapproved of her relationship with the producer, who has worked with both Gomez and her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber in the past.

While engaging with fans, Gomez claimed Blanco is “better than anyone I've been with” and revealed that they've been dating in secret for six months. Per another fan screen shot, Gomez replied directly to one user who suspected she was “trolling” her fans, writing, “Never trolling. I'm leaving Insta for a while until I have work again. I just stand up for what I believe in. I have no shame in doing that. I love my fans more than anything in the world.”

“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” Gomez shared.

However, the pop star's latest social media sabbatical didn't last long. In the wee hours of December 8, Gomez shared a black-and-white photo of her hand with the sparkling “B” ring on her left ring finger, causing another stir.

Despite the backlash, Selena Gomez appears to be very happy with Benny Blanco—and not afraid to show it.
