Now that we've admired Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz Beckham's coordinated corset looks at the Lola premiere, it's time to discuss the pop star's hair.

On February 3, Gomez celebrated her bestie's new movie in a snatched white bustier, which she paired with a classic black suit with dramatic satin lapels and nude pointed-toe heels. For her makeup look the Rare Beauty founder went with rosy cheeks and smoky eyeliner, pulling the entire look together with a glossy red lip.

What a way to debut a new set of bangs, am I right? The 31-year-old pop star hit the red carpet with full-frontal fringe, marking a major transformation since her recent appearance at the Emmy Awards in January.

Is it just me or is Gomez giving serious Alex Russo vibes? The actor rocked a similar wispy bangs in the second season of the Disney Channel original series, which aired from 2007 to 2012. She also played the young witch in two made-for-TV films, Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie (2009) and The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex (2013).

Perhaps Selena Gomez was feeling nostalgic…or maybe she's getting back into character. On January 18, The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline reported that she will be executive-producing a revival of the hit series with former costar David Henrie. While Disney Channel has ordered only a pilot of the reboot so far, Henrie is set to star in the new series, with Gomez appearing as Alex Russo in the first episode.

“So excited,” Gomez wrote alongside the Deadline announcement on Instagram Stories before sharing a throwback photo with Henrie from the series with the caption “We’re back.”

According to THR, the new Wizards of Waverly Place picks up with an adult Justin Russo (Henrie) attempting to lead a magic-free life with his family until “a young wizard (Janice LeAnn Brown of Disney’s Just Roll With It) finds him and asks him for help in both training and ensuring the future of the wizard world.”
