As someone who grew up on a healthy suburban diet of Starbucks, Homesense and COBS Bread, I know that the holiday season unofficially starts in October.

Sure, some may disagree and say that Christmas music is only appropriate from Nov. 1-onwards, but from a shopping editor's perspective, my festivities kick off when the first advent calendars make their debut.

A Sephora shopper favourite, this 24-piece set has already been called one of the year's must-have holiday buys by fans on TikTok — and it's currently on sale.

The Sephora Collection advent calendar contains $130 worth of makeup, skincare, bath and accessories from the Sephora Collection brand.

In its 2022 set, shoppers can look forward to best-sellers like the brand's Big By Definition mascara, Caffeine Clean Eye Mask, a gua sha tool, and more than 20 other beauty products.

While the 2022 advent calendar has only received a handful of reviewers, early unboxings of the 24-piece set have already earned more than 61.5 million views on TikTok.

Those who have gotten their hands on the advent calendar have called it a "very versatile gift" and are impressed by the product assortment.

One reviewer says they were "tickled pink" by the set and say it makes for a "fun" early holiday gift.

However, some shoppers say the advent calendar is "just ok" and note that the products inside are "very tiny."
