Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Really Dating? The Rumors...Explained
Listen up, Swifties. I know why you’re here. You’ve heard the rumors about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dating, so it’s high time we discuss.
This all started back in July 2023, when Travis tried giving Taylor his phone number at the Eras Tour but ultimately failed...at first. While his first attempt to contact Taylor may have been a bust, the two have since hung out, so clearly he found some success.
But don’t read into it too much yet. Despite Taylor and Travis dating rumors taking over the internet, they are not in a relationship. A source spoke with ET and revealed they are not officially dating.
Either way, Travis’s technique for asking Taylor out was pretty cute. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made one of the infamous Eras Tour friendship bracelets, writing out his phone number with the beads. But initially, he couldn’t get the bracelet to Taylor.
Speaking about the incident on his New Heights podcast, Travis said, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butt-hurt that I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
“She doesn’t meet anybody—or at least didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal,” he continued. “But it was an unbelievable show.”
It seems like even though Taylor didn’t get Travis’s bracelet a few months ago, she did get the message, because they’ve been rumored to have been spending some time together. 👀 Who knows? Maybe this is the start of Taylor’s next ~love story~.
