Sexton & Kitchen Top Qualifiers, Detroit SX Combined Qualifying 450SX & 250SX East Results

It's round 6 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship at Ford Field in Detroit, MI. Outside, it's snowing and cold, but inside, things are heating up! The qualifying sessions are finished, so it's time to go racing. Remember, today is a day race, premiering at 3 p.m. EST.

At the front of the 450SX qualifying sessions, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, Chase Sexton topped the boards in Q1 and Q2. During that 2nd qualifier, it was a battle at the front for that P1 spot. Progressive Insurance / ECSTAR Suzuki's Ken Roczen and Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing Cooper Webb were close, under a second between the three.

The 250SX East qualifying sessions saw the red plate holder and winner from last weekend's regional season opener in Tampa, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing, Max Anstie take the top time in Q1. In the second and final qualifying session, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Levi Kitchen takes the top time for the fastest qualifier ahead of racing.
