Shakira Goes Strapless in Sparkling Balmain Minidress at ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ New Album Release Party
Shakira was dressed to party. The three-time Grammy winner celebrated the release of her latest studio album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Thursday in Hollywood, Fla.
The singer opted to go strapless for the event, donning a black velvet minidress with glittering silver embroidery featuring a star on the bust by Balmain. Shakira has worn Balmain before, and notably fashioned a few of the label’s designs during her “El Dorado” tour in 2018.

Shakira also wore a pair of Yigit Zip Platform Stiletto Booties by Amina Muaddi and accessorized with silver jewelry, including a cuff bracelet. Shakira styled her long tresses in a natural wave.
Prior to her album release party, Shakira debuted the official music video for “Puntería,” her latest single from the album featuring Cardi B. While Shakira and Cardi fashion their own distinct looks during the video, they also coordinate in goddess-like pink dresses.

“Emily in Paris” actor Lucien Laviscount also stars in the music video. In the video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, Shakira dons the Pink Venus Wetlook Dress by Di Petsa, which features sheer fabric running down the skirt and cutouts. She was styled by Nicolas Bru.
But the singer’s recent outfit choice is reminiscent of another little black dress moment she had last year in May. For the Billboard Latin Women in Music Awards, Shakira donned a strapless black minidress with edgy leather details by David Koma from the 2023 resort collection.
Shakira has been teasing “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” her first album in seven years, for the last several months. The first single from the album releaseed in April 2022, with the debut of her song “Te Felicito.” Songs on the album also feature a number of artists with whom Shakira collaborates, including Karol G, on the song “TQG,” Manuel Turizo, on “Copa Vacía” and Ozuna, on “Monotonía.” Shakira’s last album, El Dorado, debuted in May 2017.
