Shania Twain and Elle Macpherson stun in new selfie taken at Zurich concert
Shania Twain and Elle Macpherson are radiating bestie energy.
On Saturday, 57-year-old Twain shared a selfie on Instagram Stories where she flashes her pearly whites beside 58-year-old Macpherson. The duo both showed off their honey blonde locks, with Twain sporting a shorter bob-style cut and a green jacket and Macpherson wearing a long flowing hair-do and a black top.
"Fun at the Eric Clapton gig," Twain penned as on-screen text to the photo, while tagging Macpherson and adding three pink heart emojis.
The Canadian pop star and Australian model shot the snap at English musician Eric Clapton's concert in Zurich, Switzerland on Oct. 14.
Twain also posted another photo on Instagram Stories of her view of the stage during the concert, while tagging Clapton's Instagram account and adding a location tag of the Hallenstadion venue in northern Zurich.
Earlier in October, Twain attended the 18th annual Zurich Film Festival alongside her husband, Frédéric Thiébaud. Twain walked the red carpet wearing a purple and black satin blazer featuring a paisley pattern, which she paired with matching pants, black leather platform boots, a diamond necklace and pale blue sunglasses.
For the event, the "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" and "You're Still The One" singer had her locks put into a longer style with loose waves and tons of volume.
On top of releasing new music with a fresh single called, "Waking Up Dreaming," the Timmins, Ont.-born country-pop star is revamping her wardrobe and style.
"I'm having more fun with fashion than I did when I was younger," the "I'm Gonna Getcha Good" artist shared. "Maybe with age I’m just less apologetic for how I look and I let fashion do its job."
But Macpherson isn't letting Twain have all the fun when it comes to fashion. The model, who's also a businesswoman and actress, dropped by Dior's spring/summer show at Paris Fashion Week in September.
The Australian beauty wore a black buttoned shirt for the show, pairing it with a long black and white embroidered skirt. To complete the look, she added a pair of black boots featuring a sheer lace detail, along with a black and red bag.
During a recent column for Irish magazine Stellar, Macpherson opened up about how her definition of beauty has changed over the past six years.
"Beauty was associated with youth, but I had come to learn that beauty is more strongly aligned with wellness," she wrote.
"We clarified beauty, reinstating its true nature as soul-deep, not just skin-deep — embracing the charisma, confidence and magnetism that makes people attractive regardless of their outer appearance. ... Ultimately, I've learnt that wellness is the new beautiful, health is the new wealth, kindness is the new cool and inner peace is the new success."
