'Never not perfect': Shania Twain brought back her 'era-defining' leopard catsuit, and fans are loving it

Shania Twain’s iconic leopard outfit is back and looking better than ever.
The 54-year-old star took to social media to celebrate the release of “Legends Never Die,” a collaboration with Canadian country singer Orville Peck.
“Legends Never Die is out now!” Twain wrote to fans on Instagram. “I'm flattered that @orvillepeck thought of me for this song, the whole EP is amazing so make sure you check it out.”

In a clip from the song’s music video, Twain and Peck are shown performing an impromptu concert at a drive-in theatre. While Peck sings and plays guitar wearing his signature fringed face mask, it’s Twain who undoubtedly steals the spotlight in a head-to-toe leopard ensemble, similar to her look from the “That Don’t Impress Me Much” music video.
In 1998, Twain famously sported a skintight animal print look while stranded in the Mojave desert. The song was her 10th Top 10 hit on country music charts, spent 28 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became one of Twain’s most popular songs.
Now, 22 years after debuting the sultry leopard look, fans are thrilled to have Twain back in the music world - and back in her signature print.

Earlier this year, Twain broke down some of her most popular fashion moments from her illustrious, genre-breaking career — and addressed the well-known look by designer Marc Bouwer.
“Very glamorous,” Twain said of the hooded outfit. “I knew when I saw it, I’m like, ‘Are you kidding? I mean, this is gorgeous.’ It’s just a very iconic look... “For better or for worse, I always latched on to the leopard print.”
