Shania Twain is pretty in pink!

On Monday, the "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" singer took to Instagram to share some news with her more than 1.7 million followers.

In the photo, Twain posed with a teacup in a stunning hot pink pantsuit, paired with a black belt, gold earrings and gold-framed sunglasses.

The 57-year-old Canadian country music icon revealed that she is "unbelievably honoured and excited, and all of the emotions," to announce that she will be joining the cast of ABC's "Beauty and the Beast" 30th Anniversary Special "to play the part of my favourite character, Mrs. Potts."

Twain will also be joining Martin Short as Lumière, David Alan Grier as Cogsworth, Rizwan Manji as LeFou, Jon Jon Briones as Maurice, Leo Abelo as Chip and R&B songstress H.E.R as Belle.

"And of course, I would be remiss if I didn't pay tribute to the iconic Angela Lansbury, I mean she is Mrs. Potts and the reason why this character is so beloved. To follow in the footsteps of such an icon is a huge honour and I hope to do the part justice," Twain penned, adding that the live-action special will be airing on December 15.

Fans met Twain's photo with praise for her bold, pink ensemble, and applause for landing the role of Mrs. Potts.

"Hot pink is officially my favourite colour on you!" one fan wrote, while another added, "This is huge news! You'll do great!"

"First of all, love the hot pink suit on you. Such a good look. Secondly, I'm so excited to see you as Mrs. Potts! That's so exciting. Congratulations, Canadian queen!" another wrote.

"Wow, she can do it all!" someone else pointed out.

One commenter added: "How amazing! Only an icon can follow an icon. You will be brilliant."

"Stunning outfit! And congratulations. You will absolutely do the part justice!" another chimed in.

In addition to joining the "Beauty and the Beast" Anniversary Special cast, Twain has also been breathing new life into her music career.

Last month she released a new single, "Waking Up Dreaming," and announced that she is currently working on her sixth studio album — dubbing it "just the start" of a "new chapter" in her career and life.

"It is a long way from country,” she described her upcoming sound on a recent episode of HBO's "Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?"

"It’s high-energy boppy-poppy. In the video, I’m very much playing superstar, I am dressing up. And having a lot of fun with fashion and looks like never before. It’s indulgent for me," she added.
