Shania Twain gives 'iconic' surprise performance at celebrity wedding

Shania Twain made a surprise performance at Chris Appleton's wedding, and fans are loving it.

On Wednesday, the celebrity hairstylist took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos and a video from his wedding to "White Lotus" actor Lukas Gage. It included a snippet of Twain giving a performance of her 1997 hit, "You're Still The One."

The first three photos feature the newlyweds posing together, as well as with their wedding officiant Kim Kardashian. In the fourth snap, Twain joined the couple and Skims founder, posing in a pair of blue jeans paired and a long-sleeve black and silver blouse.

"We did it," Appleton penned in the caption alongside a diamond ring emoji, adding: "Big thank you to [Kim Kardashian] and [Shania Twain]."

In the comments, Appleton's post was met with congratulatory messages, including one from Twain herself who thanked the couple for letting her surprise them.

"Congratulations to you both!" she wrote. "So fun getting to surprise you."

Others weighed in with praise on Twain's performance and "stunning" look.

"Not the one and only Shania Twain! As if she surprised y'all. I love that. What a queen and absolute timeless beauty. Congrats to you both," one Instagram user commented.

Twain — who released the deluxe version of her latest album "Queen Of Me" on Friday — garnered even more praise for her appearance earlier this month, after she wowed fans with her daring fashion choice at the 2023 CMT Awards.

The 57-year-old singer stepped out in a red and black cutout turtleneck gown with mesh sleeves, a thigh-high slit and a train. She paired the dress with black, patent leather platform high heels, and wore her red hair down, with a middle part.

"Shania's new era! This look is everything. I'm obsessed," an Instagram user wrote of Twain's red carpet look.

"I love how much fun she’s having lately with wigs and fashion!," another added.

"Shania is serving," someone else penned.

One person commented: "Shania can pull off anything."
