Shay Mitchell is getting candid about balancing motherhood and her social life.

On Tuesday, the 35-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a video comparing herself dancing in a limo over the weekend to herself back at home cradling her three-month-old daughter, Rome, while makeup-free.

"The difference a solo five-hour flight to New York can make," the Mississauga, Ont. native captioned her video, along with additional text over the clip that reads: "Me thinking about how different my weekend was vs. my current situation."

Mitchell's quippy and relatable Instagram Reel was met with applause from fans who thanked her for her candidness.

"You're always keeping it real with us about motherhood and I love that. This is so hilarious and relatable [as f—]!" one Instagram user commented, while another chimed in, "It's always good to have a day off, even though you love your children more than anything. You are amazing."

"Best of both worlds!" someone else wrote.

"A mom can double as anything!" added another.

One fan penned: "It's all about balance!" paired with a clapping emoji.

"She's not a regular mom, she's a cool mom!" another person commented.

This isn't Mitchell's first time giving fans an honest look at herself in mommy-mode. While she was pregnant with her youngest daughter, Rome, in March, the "Pretty Little Liars" and "Dollface" star shared a photo revealing the less "glamorous" side of being in her third trimester.

"I never appreciated a couch in a store...until my third trimester," Mitchell, who shares her two children with Toronto-born actor Matte Babel, captioned a photo of herself. In the shot, Mitchell wore a tan face mask, large black sunglasses, a long black coat, grey sweatpants and white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers while sitting on a couch and baring her baby bump.

The "You" actress has often been vocal about navigating motherhood under the constant pressure to be "perfect." In 2021, Mitchell revealed to Elle her own personal parenting philosophy that she adopted from her own mom.

"Just trying not to be perfect and knowing that what you're doing is enough, and going with your instincts — that was my mom's whole vibe. She was like, 'You're always going to be hard on yourself if you're trying to be perfect. No one's ever perfect, but that's what makes funny stories in the end,'" Mitchell shared. "You know you give them love. That's all that they want and need. It helped out, especially in the first year when you're trying to do everything and do it perfectly. It's nice to know that there's no such thing as perfect."
