Sofia Vergara never fails to impress on the red carpet, no matter what she wears. During Sunday’s 77th Golden Globe Awards, the 47-year-old star stunned on the red carpet wearing a strapless, figure-hugging wine-hued gown by Dolce and Gabbana. Vergara, accompanied by husband Joe Manganiello, finished the ensemble with big hoop earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and a clutch to match.

As for beauty, the “Modern Family” actress kept things on brand, only this time, she upgraded her look with a statement matte mauve lip. Makeup artist Quinn Murphy took to Instagram to reveal his secret to perfecting Vergara’s perfectly-matte lips: Buxom’s Power-Full Lip Scrub in Dragon Fruit ($24) — a winter must-have, if you ask us.

This sugar-infused lip scrub is said to create a soft and smooth base as it gently exfoliates lips for a supple, sexy pout. The Power-Full Lip Scrub gently buffs away dry skin patches, while nourishing papaya seed oil and conditioning mango seed butter pamper your lips. It’s an ideal product as a first step in your lipstick application, and reveals the perfect colour and finish.

Quinn then used Buxom’s Plumpline Lip Liner ($23) in “Undercover” to help define the lip shade before going in with Buxom’s Full-Force Lipstick ($25) in “Dolly Dreamer,” which he used over the entire lip.

For the rest of the look, Quinn kept things warm and monochromatic with a rust-coloured eye shadow, fluffy and lifted lashes and a soft berry blush.

This year, Vergara says farewell to 11 seasons of “Modern Family.”

“Eleven seasons of perfection,” she said in an interview with E! “From the first time I stepped onto the show and realized how special it was, I made it like a thing that I was going to enjoy every award show and every invitation. Thank god I did because now I’m like, ‘I did it!’ — I took every opportunity that I could. I mean, how many times does an actor get to experience a show like that?”
