Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Agreed to a Temporary Custody Settlement

Where their two daughters will live has been a point of contention for the two.

After a back-and-forth battle in the headlines and mediation in the courtroom, People reports that Sophie Turner and her soon-to-be-ex-husband Joe Jonas have reached a temporary agreement on where their two daughters, 15-month-old Delphine and 3-year-old Willa, will live. Initially, Turner insisted that the couple had agreed to move to England to raise their children and that Jonas was keeping his daughters in the United States.

On Tuesday, court documents outlined an interim consent order after Turner and Jonas "engaged in a productive mediation from Oct. 4-7." According to the agreement, from Oct. 9-21, the two kids will be with Turner and be allowed to travel to England and anywhere in the U.S. After that, the children will be with Jonas through Nov. 2 and he is being afforded the same travel guidelines. From there, they'll be with Turner through Nov. 22 and with Jonas through Dec. 16. They'll spend the winter holidays with Turner through Jan. 7, 2024. The agreement also requires "that the parties shall jointly submit a status report letter" prior to Dec. 23 to figure out what happens after Jan. 7, 2024.

The mediation and subsequent agreement was filed after Turner sued Jonas for wrongful retention, claiming that he was withholding their passports and, in turn, keeping them from traveling to England. Turner's motion called for "the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained" and her team stated that the "wrongful retention" began on Sept. 20. Jonas disputed the claims shortly after the news broke.
