'F--k your freedom': Evangeline Lilly slammed for controversial social distancing comments

Sophie Turner isn’t holding back when it comes to people choosing not to practice social distancing.
The “Game of Thrones” actress recently took to Instagram alongside husband Joe Jonas to blast those who have dismissed instructions to stay inside and help flatten the curve of COVID-19.

“Stay inside, don’t be f—ing stupid, even if you count your ‘freedom’ over — I don’t know, what is it — your health,” the 24-year-old actress told followers.
Many believe Turner’s comments were in direct response to those made by Evangeline Lilly. The “Lost” actress recently made headlines for stating that life for her and her family was “business as usual” despite the global pandemic.

Lilly shared her feelings on Instagram along with a photo of a cup of tea.
“Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives,” she wrote. “We all make our choices ... where we are right now feels a lot too close to Marshall Law for my comfort already, all in the name of a respiratory flu [sic].”
Turner held on to a cup of tea during her Instagram live stream. “I don’t give a f--- about your freedom. You could be infecting other people, other vulnerable people around you by doing this,” she said. So stay inside guys! It’s not cool, it’s not big, and it’s not clever… And that’s the tea.”
Lilly was not the only person to make controversial statements about COVID-19. Earlier this month, “High School Musical” actress Vanessa Hudgens found herself in hot water after she told followers, “Yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible, but like, inevitable?”
Hudgens later issued a video apology to social media, in which she admitted her comments were “insensitive” and “inappropriate.”
