These Soup-Infused Chocolate Truffles Taste Like Your Favorite Thanksgiving Sides

This year, along with fun stats like how many Americans prefer sides over turkey (it's 67%, up slightly from 2022), Campbell's is celebrating with (checks notes) a six-piece soup-infused savory chocolate set.
Inspired by the brand's iconic holiday side recipes (think mac-and-cheese and mashed sweet potatoes), the limited-edition chocolates will be available for $35 per box from luxury chocolatier Phillip Ashley Chocolate beginning November 7.

He's served up his magical creations by the tens of thousands to Hollywood stars at the Emmys, Grammys, and Oscars and even landed a spot on Oprah’s Favorite Things in 2020. This year, he became a James Beard Semifinalist to boot, and he didn't get there by being ordinary. "Creating out-of-the-box chocolate flavors that are delicious and tell a story is a true passion of mine,” said Phillip Ashley.
But if you want to go on this flavor adventure, take note: Campbell's Thanksgiving limited-edition items tend to sell out quickly (last year, the sides plates were gone in a flash). So mark your calendar and be ready to buy on Tuesday, November 7, or you may never find out if savory gourmet chocolates could have overtaken mashed potatoes—the current king of sides according to the report—as your family's no. 1 Thanksgiving dish.
