A Source Reveals If Taylor Swift Secretly Worked On Lady Gaga’s ‘How Bad Do U Want Me’
It didn’t take long after Lady Gaga’s Mayhem was released for fans to pick out one song that seemed to have Taylor Swift 1989 vibes to it: 'How Bad Do U Want Me.' Some listeners went so far as to theorise that they heard Swift’s voice in the background vocals. But Swift is not credited on the track.

A source doubled down on this after the rumor started to make headlines. That insider told Page Six that talk of Swift working on the Gaga track is 'false.' Fan speculation of her secretly doing background vocals is 'not true.' Us Weekly also received word from a source that Swift was not involved with the song.
There are some versions floating around on social media where Swift’s voice has been added with AI. The original is all Gaga though.
Gaga and Swift are friends, with Swift making headlines last June for defending Gaga after the singer shut down false pregnancy rumors by using lyrics from Swift’s song 'Down Bad.'
Swift commented on Gaga’s TikTok, writing, 'Can we all agree that it’s invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body. Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, and neither does any woman. 💋'
While Gaga and Swift aren’t collaborating yet, Gaga hinted she’ll be working with Beyoncé again on 'Telephone' part 2.
'The tea on "Telephone" part 2 is that there will be [one],' she said during a recent Little Monsters Press Conference hosted by Spotify. 'But I’m not gonna give it all away. You wouldn’t want that anyway.' The only additional information Gaga would give was a suggestion to fans: 'I think that you should all call Beyoncé together.'
