If you’ve never savored burrata on a caprese sandwich or a charcuterie board, you might confuse it with mozzarella since the two cheeses share some similarities. However, burrata is creamier and softer than its cousin mozzarella, making it richer and ideal for spreading on an array of dishes.

If you’re a fan of burrata or if you’re excited to try, you want to head over to Trader Joe’s because the popular grocer just brought back its beloved truffle-infused burrata — and shoppers are racing to their nearest locations to get a tub.

Trader Joe’s has long been known for its iconic cheese selection, and the chain recently stocked its shelves with Truffle Burrata for $5.99 per 8-ounce tub. The creamy curds act as the perfect blanket to cover a handful of black truffles, and the milky and savory umami flavor pairing works deliciously together.

You can melt this truffle-infused burrata on a homemade pizza, eat it fresh on a caprese-inspired salad, or stuff it into a chicken sandwich.

When the @trader_joes_treasure_hunt Instagram account posted about the release, saying it will “melt in your mouth,” shoppers in the comments shared how much they enjoy this limited-time offering. One person said the cheese is “sinfully good!” while another user shared their excitement, saying “I’m going to scream I love this stuff.”

Truffle-flavored ingredients are appearing in a variety of items at Trader Joe’s. The grocer also sells Sliced Black Truffle Monterey Jack Cheese, Truffle Salami, and Truffle Piccante Spicy Pasta Sauce.
