Statue's latest festive makeover as Bluey unveiled
Mystery artists have once again decorated a village statue in time for Christmas.
This year's guerilla get-up for the the statue of Lord John Scott in Dunchurch, Warwickshire, is as cartoon dog Bluey.
The decoration has been a tradition in the village for decades, as the former Scottish MP's memorial is transformed into characters ranging from Homer Simpson to Pinocchio.
Resident Amber Cummins said: "Every year there is speculation on who dresses the statue, but it is Dunchurch's best-kept secret, and we look forward to the anticipation of what the statue will be as Christmas gets closer."
Lord John Scott was a 19th Century Scottish MP who owned land in the area and died in 1860.
As well as annual festive makeovers that have included Peppa Pig and Spiderman, he has also been decorated for other major events like the Olympics and the King's coronation.
