WATCH: 'Dumb' man loses case on 'Judge Judy' in just 26 seconds
Gone in (less than) 60 seconds.
A man learned pretty quickly that the law isn't always on your side when he lost his court case in just 26 seconds on 'Judge Judy.'
The culprit was on the reality court show to dispute the claim that he and his friend had robbed a woman's purse.
Plaintiff Gina Paradeza was recounting all the items she had in her purse at the time -- "I had 50 dollars, an earpiece, a calculator..."
That's when the man interrupted her, saying, "There was no earpiece in there, ma'am."
By doing that, the man accidentally confessed to the crime. Oops.
The confession only made Judge Judy cackle in delight.
"I love it," the judge exclaimed before dubbing the two men "Dumb" and "Dumber."
Lesson of the day: Think before you speak. Also, don't steal.
