Subway Has a Major Deal on Footlongs for 2 Weeks Only

Now it just needs a new jingle.

We’ve seen Subway make some pretty big changes to its menu lately, like when it added new Cheesy Garlic Steak and Spicy Nacho Chicken sandwiches, Cali Caprese signature wraps, and Pepporni & Cheese Footlong Dippers to the mix.

However, its most recent change tops just about everything we’ve ever witnessed, including when the beloved Footlong Cookie was added back to the menu. And that's because this change directly affects our wallets. But this limited-time promo won’t be around for long. Here’s how to enjoy it while you can.

Subway’s $6.99 Footlong Deal

Today marks the start of Subway’s two-week promotional deal: $6.99 for any Footlong. You read that right. Any Footlong of your choice (except for the Footlong Sidekicks). That means you can enjoy one of the classic items, such as the Meatball Marinara or a Cold Cut Combo, along with one of the 22 chef-crafted subs in the Subway Series (hello, Garlic Roast Beef and Teriyaki Blitz). This deal also counts toward those subs customized to your liking.

Typically, a 12-inch sub can cost around $10 and up, so nabbing one for less than $7 can surely help ease the pain we’re feeling in our wallets, especially when it seems just about everything is costing us more money these days.

"At Subway, our definition of value is a mix of delicious options at the right price without compromising quality. Subway has been known to offer some tasty items on its menu for less. Last year, it released its $2 Subway Sidekicks with both sweet and savory options, then earlier this summer, the sandwich company launched its $3 Footlong Dippers with 11 different dipping sauces. While we're still waiting for the return of the $5 Footlong (and its catchy jingle), at least this is a start.
