Suki Waterhouse's Red Lingerie And Faux Fur Coat Look Is So Rock'N'Roll
When it comes to thinking about winter dressing, coats are the obvious first item that come to mind. After months of leaving the house with no thought of needing a warm layer, the temperature dropping is the first indicator that summer is well and truly over. Alas, if we do have to dress for wind, rain and (what feels like) sub-zero temperatures, we may as well look stylish at the same time.
From trench coats to leather jackets, bombers and quilted designs, the options are endless. That's one silver lining, at least. But, when it comes to the biggest autumn/winter outerwear trends as spotted on this season's runways, it's all about fur coats. Faux, of course. Whether soft and smooth styles as seen at Givenchy, shearling fluff at Alaïa or shaggy piles at Prabal Gurung – the more tactile the texture, the better.

For IRL inspiration, you need only look to Suki Waterhouse, whose perfect collection of faux fur coats is quickly becoming our greatest envy. Her latest? A white fuzzy design that she wore with just red lacy lingerie underneath.
Sharing a snap of the look on Instagram, the image is for Beat magazine and sees the multi-hyphenate (she's a model, actress and singer) posing in the sunshine while standing on a balcony. Her unorthodox combination of an oversized white faux fur coat that falls well below her knees and features giant lapels, paired with a fire engine red lace bra and coordinating frilly knickers, plus a pair of sunglasses perched on her nose, all make for an ensemble that oozes rock and roll realness.
Convenient then, that Suki is fully in her pop star era. Robert Pattinson's fiancée captioned her post, 'A fuzzy coat? Very sparklemuffin 💋' in reference to her recently released sophomore album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin.
