If you live in South Florida, there’s no doubt about it: You’re stressed. Heat, traffic, the threat of hurricanes, the lack of mangoes all combine to threaten your fragile well-being.

The annual promotion from the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau begins July 1, offering treatments and therapies at a less expensive rate than normal at some of the swankiest spas in Miami. Think of it as Miami Spice for your spine and soul.
Treatments start at $109, with most massages starting at $159. Some of the participating spas offer add-ons and signature spa experiences that cost more. Some spas are offering day passes at a reduced rate, too, so you can hang out for awhile at the beach or the pool after your treatment is over.
Massages and facials, pedicures and blowouts are available everywhere, of course, but some spas are offering more unusual treatments.
For example, at the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort in Miami Beach, home to the Michelin-starred restaurant The Tambourine Room by Tristan Brandt, you can indulge in two touchless treatments for $109.
You can try the Somadome, a technology-enabled meditation pod that combines color, sound, and energy therapies for deep meditation. Or maybe Vibroacoustic Electro Magnetic And Infrared Therapy, infrared technology that uses healing sound resonance with full-body vibrations, natural earth frequencies and Infrared for deep meditation.
Want to make it a day? Add on a day pass for $90 and get access to the cabana pool and beach plus the hydrotherapy experience and complimentary valet.
And if you’re missing out on mangoes this summer, you can always try the tropical massage at ame spa at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura. The $159, 50-minute massage uses your choice of mango, coconut or guava body butter. Just be sure to show up early to take advantage of Aroma & Music Therapy Steam Room and Himalayan Salt Room.
