On Monday, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’s 12-year-old daughter wore a long-sleeve floral Dolce & Gabbana dress with a girly bow embellishment when she joined her mama for the black-tie Spring Gala for American Ballet Theatre in N.Y.C..
The, um, hefty price tag would make make most moms run for cover—the dress rings in at $1,195—but Holmes didn’t duck. Instead, she lent her sartorial support in the form of a matching embroidered floral number by pal Zac Posen. If the gala had been handing out best-dressed prizes, mom and daughter would have taken home the title.

Don’t think little Cruise is extra or demanding, though. In fact, her $1,195 is pretty chill in comparison to other celebrity tots. Blue Ivy Carter, for instance, has been known to rely on Mischka Aoki dresses with an $8,405 asking price, while North West gets her clothes tailored from mom Kim Kardashian’s very own closet. Must be nice.
