Sydney Sweeney Combined Ombré Beach Waves With Snow Queen Vibes

With snow draping a good chunk of the United States right now, it can be hard to picture the distant days of summer—long, loose, salty beach waves draping over our tank-topped shoulders, not a care in the world other than whether or not our deodorant is still working. But while so many of us are trying to figure out the best way to smoosh our hair under a warm beanie, Sydney Sweeney has decided to infuse a decidedly summery hairstyle into an otherwise icy look.

Sweeney was spotted in New York City on Sunday night looking like an absolute snow queen: a shearling-trim white coat belted over a white turtleneck and trousers. She even kept the ivory theme going with her bag and boots. The dressiness of her outfit didn't stop her from literally digging into the snow, picking up, packing, and throwing snowballs at the paparazzi and onlookers.

And somehow, despite falling snowflakes that would quickly compromise the average person's hairstyle, Sweeney's look stayed radiant—and reminiscent of warmer-weather looks. Inches upon inches of ombré—starting bronde at the middle-parted roots and transitioning into a golden blonde—looked both smooth yet not overly “done.” Her beach waves, reaching all the way down to her waist, stayed ever so slightly messy and yet somehow immaculate, as if the snow helped shape it to perfection like salt so effortlessly does.

Even Sweeney's polish-free nails and low-key makeup contributed to the summery beauty feel, even while the rest of her look screamed winter wonderland.

So if you dare to venture out in the plummeting temperatures, just know that you can channel warmer weather with your look—even if you can't feel it.
