Sydney Sweeney Just Debuted a Chin-Length Short Bob Haircut at the 2024 Oscars
The 2024 Oscars award ceremony may have come to an end, but our journey of appreciation for the star-studded beauty transformations is still in full swing. So step aside, shiny, tiny, gold, naked men (no, not you John Cena). 😬
Late last night, Sydney Sweeney took to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in celebration of the 96th Academy Awards with a style like no other. While she turned up and out in a gorgeous archival Marc Bouwer plunge neck gown, it was her new haircut that stole the spotlight. Enter: the '50s bouffant bob.
Last week, the actor stepped out at Miu Miu's Paris Fashion Week show to hard launch a mid-length shag haircut. And now, just short of a few days later, she's taken her fresh cut up a notch (quite literally) with an even shorter chin-length bob.
Sitting brushed under and around her face, the actor's new cropped length features voluminous roots and a soft, glamorous quaffed parting that together, mesh the best of two decades of hairstyles. In the late '50s, haircuts began transitioning to the mod look that ruled the '60s, and Sydney's Oscars 'do is the definition of that era's best look.
Old Hollywood-meets -he modern Swinging Sixties done right!
As the old age saying goes, trends come and go, but there's always something to be said for the short bob. Obsessed!
