Taco Bell fan-favorite to return for limited time — with a spicy twist. What to know

Taco Bell is bringing back a fan favorite for its “longest run ever.”

Nacho fries will return to menus nationwide starting April 25, this time featuring a Serrabanero sauce by Secret Aardvark, according to the fast-food chain.

Taco Bell teamed up with the Portland-based hot sauce company to launch the Secret Aardvark nacho fries — its latest iteration made with a blend of ranch and the hot sauce brand’s spicy Serrabanero sauce, Taco Bell said in a news release.

For $4.99, customers can get seasoned fries topped with shredded chicken, a three-cheese blend, sour cream, nacho cheese, pico de gallo and the ranch-Serrabanero sauce blend, according to a product description.

Made for folks who like a little heat, Secret Aardvark’s Serrabanero sauce features “green tomatoes, roasted tomatillos, serrano and green habanero pepper flavors,” Taco Bell said.

Nacho fries debuted in 2018 and have appeared on menus almost a dozen times since, Eat This, Not That reported. The chain teased its collaboration with Secret Aardvark back in February, though it was mum on the details.

Secret Aardvark nacho fries are available for a limited time, though Taco Bell didn’t say how long.
