Taco Bell's Wings Are Back! Here's How You Can Get Your Hands On The Menu Fave
Sure, rooting for your favorite team on game day is always a priority. But let's not forget that snacks are a close second when it comes to the game day hierarchy. And as we prepare to watch the last few NFL games of the season, Taco Bell has announced that a menu fave will soon return for our snacking pleasure.
Following its limited—though ultra-successful—release last year, Taco Bell's Crispy Chicken Wings are returning to the menu starting January 26 through February 9. The wings, which are coated in Mexican Queso seasoning and fried til crispy, can be purchased a la carte or as part of the Ultimate GameDay Box.
Perfect for defeating that halftime hunger, the Ultimate GameDay Box comes loaded with one Mexican Pizza, four Crunchy Tacos, and eight Crispy Chicken Wings. You'll also receive two Spicy Ranch dipping sauces for dunking your wings in.
"The Ultimate GameDay Box allows Taco Bell to compete in a space that's been traditionally reserved for pizza and wings, in a way only this brand can," said Sean Tresvant, Global Chief Brand Officer, in a statement.
For sports fanatics who've had February 12 marked on their calendars for quite sometime, you've likely noticed that the Crispy Chicken Wings will be long gone before the big game. Yes, the wings won't be available for Super Bowl, but a spokesperson for Taco Bell did reveal to Eat This, Not That! that "the brand has other priorities that weekend that we'll be announcing soon."
In the meantime, we've got plenty of fun recipes to satisfy you and your guests for the Rihanna concert—err, we mean Super Bowl!
