Can you believe we have been watching Dancing with the Stars for eight weeks now? I honestly cannot. If it wasn’t for Rumer being a total revelation, I don’t know that I would still be watching! And yet, here we are again. This week the theme was “America’s Choice,” which meant that contestants crowdsourced ideas for their performance from Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. For most this just meant letting the public pick what style and what song they danced to, and other people let the public help them with customs and set. Now that the show is at it’s halfway point, there are only enough dances to fill an hour show, so they make everyone dance twice so they can fill the whole two-hour slot, which feels a little tiring? (Again, thank god for Rumer – and new favorite Nastia, Sasha, and Derek! – for keeping things exciting all the way to the end). And if it wasn’t enough to make everyone dance twice to fill up the two hours, they decided to do eliminations the next day, so we will be updating you with who went home later tonight. All I can tell you is, it’s definitely not Rumer! My worst fears came true: there was a lot of nude and at least one fruit-hat, but also, this may be my new favorite show. Onto the glitz and the drama!More from Yahoo Style:Dancing with the Stars Week 2: Crabs, Human Emojis & Patti Labelle Takes All
