John Galliano strikes again with one of his strangest runway shows yet — that just so happens to be one of the most memorable moments of Paris Fashion Week so far. For the designer’s Maison Margiela Fall/Winter 2017 show, he had a model walk with an oversized, furry black bag over her head. Not only was the fluffy head accessory not accompanied by a voluminous, Marie Antoinette-esque gown, the complementing look included a mere skin-tight nude tank top and blue jeans. The collection showed significant similarities to Galliano’s earlier Maison Margiela Couture show in January which featured an array of garments that included geometric cut outs and loose, colored threads dangling from coat collars to its buttons.
No one said fashion is original, at least not this season. In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to find a designer who presented a fall 2017 collection that didn’t pull inspiration from a well-known piece of pop culture.
Hailey Baldwin didn’t walk today’s Prada show, but her influence was still weirdly felt on the runway. That’s because 10 models wore crocheted bikinis during today’s show, evoking Baldwin’s infamous swimsuit shots with Justin Bieber. Of course, knit swimwear isn’t just clickbait — it’s a classic ’70s style that riffs on rock festivals and beach communes. But thanks to Instagram’s steady takeover of the human psyche, it’s where our minds immediately zoomed. Alas, these tops are for fall 2017, which means you might not be able to get them until the tail end of beach season in August. ...
Kendall Jenner walks the Moschino Fall/Winter 2017 show in Milan on Feb. 23. Carrie Bradshaw had put a bird on her head, but Kendall Jenner just beat her: She opened the Moschino show wearing a UPS crate as a hat.
One of the models who caught our attention this season was Kelly Gervais, a 5-foot-8-inch New Jersey native. She not only walked in six shows (including Pyer Moss), but also did so while sporting an Afro. “I started modeling when I was about 13 years old, though I didn’t start professionally [until] I was about 15,” Gervais told Yahoo Beauty.
The name of the game during New York Fashion Week is access. While the real Sisqó — the rapper of “Thong Song” and Dru Hill fame — was in Las Vegas, the man posing as Sisqó enjoyed front row access to some of the most exclusive runway shows and after-parties, including Philipp Plein, Vivienne Tam, and Kanye West’s Yeezy show. This Yahoo Style writer met “Sisqó,” who introduced himself as Lucky Galimier, at the Baja East party at the Gilded Lily club in Manhattan.
This year, New York Fashion Week has become a sounding board for all things political. Most visibly, T-shirts and hats with political statements scrawled across them
Unsurprisingly, this year's New York Fashion Week has been the most politically charged fashion week in recent history. Everyone from emerging designers to industry stalwarts have participated in their own versions of political activism, featuring slogan T-shirts on runways and providing Planned Parenthood support pins to showgoers.

Kelsey and Camille Grammer’s daughter, Mason, is yet another celeb kid who has gotten the attention of the fashion world. On Thursday, the 15-year-old made an appearance on designer Malan Breton’s runway, rocking a floral printed dress and a vampy lip, serving ladylike spookiness.
