The South American publication debuted the cover on Instagram on Thursday, and fans received it with resounding praise.
A new study by Dr. Alfredo Gaitan from the University of Bedfordshire has revealed that women who wear “sexier” clothing are seen as more intelligent. Gaitan gathered 64 students with an average age of 21, and gave them two pictures of the same woman in two different outfits — one wore a low-cut top, mini skirt and jacket and the other donned a less revealing top and a longer skirt.
How do you gear up for the year’s biggest awards ceremony? With a star-studded lunch, naturally. Yesterday, many of Hollywood’s elite got all glammed up for the annual Oscar nominees luncheon. Ruth Negga and Natalie Portman come close to snogging on the cover of W magazine. W magazine has released multiple visuals for its annual Best Performances issue, and this year it’s getting the stars of some of the buzziest films to come together. For its six covers, the magazine tapped actors including Mahershala Ali, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Williams, Joel Edgerton, Viggo Mortensen, Adam Driver, Amy Adams, Matthew McConaughey, Casey Affleck, and Emma Stone.
Natalie Portman isn’t here to make an interviewer’s job easier. She doesn’t chirp out sound bites or regale you with tales about last night’s dinner. She won’t share adorable or quirky anecdotes about her son, Aleph, or her husband, dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, to help sell a project. Her social media presence? Nonexistent. And after promoting her docudrama Jackie for weeks and weeks, Portman, now pregnant with her second child, says she’s been asked nearly everything possible about making the movie. ...
With fall now in full swing, Natalie Portman is adding a simple feminine detail with major style impact to her latest maternity look. The Black Swan star, who first unveiled her baby bump at the Venice Film Festival in September, has been sporting a variety of comfortable and chic ensembles ever since, and her errands look Thursday might be one of our favorites. The expectant mother perfectly showed off her growing baby bump to its best advantage in a figure-skimming dove gray long-sleeve

It’s Vintage Week at Yahoo Style! In honor of our favorite environmentally friendly way to make sure you’re never wearing the same outfit as anyone else, we’re bringing you insider intel on the best vintage — what to look for, where to find it, and how to make the most money when selling yours. The red carpet is where we look for the most “aspirational” fashion — that is to say, the most outlandishly expensive and out of reach. In this, the era of the superstar stylist, it’s rare to see a true curveball on the red carpet — unless, of course, a celeb opts for vintage.
While the fashion crowd flocks to New York to flaunt their best fall looks for the start of the Spring 2016 women’s collection, other fabulous types were making a splash all over the world. Elizabeth Olsen, Mary-Kate and Ashley’s little sister arrived to the premiere of Ruth and Alex at the 41st Deauville American Film Festival looking angelic in a white short sleeve gown from Calvin Klein Collection. Natalie Portman embraced her inner goddess in a flesh-tone lace one-shoulder Lanvin gown while attending the premiere of A Tale Of Love And Darkness at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival. From Victoria Beckham’s showing off her perfectly toned bod in her own label’s LBD to Irina Shayk’s white Versace power suit, here’s a look at this week’s best dressed.
Before the Golden Lion was even awarded at the Venice Film Festival, actors were already making their way from Italy across multiple timezones to Ontario. The Toronto International Film Festival kicked off very fashionably and throughout the duration hasn’t stopped. Natalie Portman set the bar high attending the opening festivities in a Dior Couture floral mini dress and the hits kept on coming. The Martian’s star-studded cast on the red carpet including Kate Mara in a red A.L.C. jumpsuit, Matt Damon in head-to-toe black, and Jessica Chastain in a Lanvin LBD were all dressed to the nines.
See, for example, Nicole Kidman’s Grace Kelly: Grace of Monaco opened last year’s Cannes Film Festival, but it’s premiering on Lifetime later this month. Naomi Watts said she regretted playing Princess Diana after the move bombed at the box office, and when Katie Holmes took on the role of Jackie Kennedy (twice!), Newsweek—in one of the kinder reviews—wrote that she “doesn't really have the gravitas to pull off the role.” On the other hand, playing the women who’ve shaped history must be irresistible. Kennedy in particular has attracted a long line of women from Holmes to Ginnifer Goodwin, Minka Kelly to Jacqueline Bisset, Kennedy’s accent, style, and yes, gravitas, are oft imitated on screen.

Dakota Johnson and Felicity Jones are the group's newest subscribers.
