Tanya Kim is getting real about therapy.

The former Canadian TV host took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a video of herself embracing her dog, Frankie. In the clip, Kim kissed her pet on the forehead, while she brushed her paw and then touched her forehead to Frankie's.

"The best therapist has fur and four legs," said an audio that Kim included in the video.

"To my human therapist, [Jen Polo], I know I've said you are my favourite and truly a lifesaver in my healing journey, and I strive to always be impeccable with my words, buuut..." Kim joked in the caption to her post.

"For anyone out there who needs a little encouragement, go to therapy. It will feel hard and require much work and doing, but the time is now to heal yourself. Don't wait any longer to love yourself first. I'll be rooting for you.⁣ Sending you love, light and healing."

Fans showed their appreciation for Kim's words in the comments of her post, with many sending their love for the former "Etalk" co-host.

"Sending tons of love," someone wrote, along with three red heart emojis.

"Dogs are the best therapy," someone else penned, alongside a dog and red heart emoji.

"So sweet," one person shared.

"Precious, precious," another person commented, while adding several red heart emojis.

"I needed to hear this today," one fan chimed in.

"So powerful. Love this message, beautiful, amazing lady," another raved.

In the past, Kim has often taken to social media to show her dog some major love.

In November, the Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.-native shared another clip of herself hugging Frankie, while a cover of "Just The Two of Us" by Toronto singer Lucy Ellis played.

"The greatest love of all," Kim added as on-screen text to the video, before the words, "next to the love for oneself, of course," appeared.

"Have you been lucky enough to find your 'heart dog'? Do you believe animals can be our soulmates, too? (You already know my answer)," Kim asked her followers in her caption.

In the comments of the post, people shared their love for Kim and Frankie, with others chiming in with the love for their own pets.

"So special!!!! You are both lucky," someone penned.

"There is no love greater than a love given by a dog and given to a dog. Charlie is the son I never had and love him with everything I can. Is it strange I feel weird calling Charlie a dog? To me he is so much more than that," someone else shared.

"Ahhhh! Now that's love," one person added.
