Taylor Swift Almost Fell Off the Folklore Cabin During Her Tokyo Tour Stop

Taylor Swift nearly took a nasty tumble twice during her Eras Tour shows in Tokyo.

It all started with her first night at the Tokyo Dome, when a viral clip captured the pop star missing her mark during the “Vigilante Shit” chair dance.

In the video the Grammy winner can be seen plunking down onto the chair only to realize the seat cover was set farther back than she realized. Fazed only for a moment, she appears to steady herself with a spare hand and proceed with the rest of the show as usual. That is, until she mixed up the lyrics to “Dear Reader” during the surprise-songs part of the concert.

It seems Swift suffered another close call on stage the following night. During her second performance in Tokyo, Swift nearly fell off the cabin she sings atop during the Folklore section of every show. The singer quickly addressed the blunder to the audience in a clip that has since made the rounds on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“I almost fell off the Folklore cabin, but I didn’t and that’s the lesson,” Swift explained on stage. “My life flashed before my eyes. Yeah, no it’s all good… Everything’s fine, everything’s great. I’m just so happy I didn’t fall off the Folklore cabin, you know what I mean? What a great night in Tokyo!”

Who can really blame Taylor Swift for breaking concentration, given the engagement rumors flying around about her and Travis Kelce ahead of the Super Bowl?
