Taylor Swift is 'Bejeweled' for date night in £35,000 diamond earrings
The festive period isn't over just yet, and Taylor Swift is taking her time celebrating. While spending the weekend in New York City with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, the pop star embraced sparkles inspired by the season (and perhaps a certain song from her Midnights album). As the couple stepped out over the weekend for a dinner date at Chez Margaux, she looked radiant in a crystal-embellished coat, styling the piece with an equally glittering bag.
Swift channelled Christmassy shimmer in a black long-line coat embellished with starburst-shaped clusters, layering the Simkhai Ganni piece atop a flared black minidress from Fleur Du Mal. She complemented her ensemble with a pair of Christian Louboutin Movida Sabina platform heels, flashing the iconic red soles with every step.
The Fortnight singer continued her luxurious streak with her accessories, carrying a black Stella McCartney Falabella crystal-fringed tote in hand. The bejewelled bag matched her coat, as well as her stacks of jewellery. For the occasion, she wore De Beers’s Arpeggia One Line drop earrings — worth a cool £35,000 — and paired the diamonds with a gold T Diamond Wire ring from Tiffany & Co.
Kelce opted for a waxed denim trucker jacket and matching baggy jeans from Nahmias. The colour nodded to his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, while also co-ordinating with Swift’s signature red lipstick and the pop of crimson on her Louboutin heels.
The night prior, the couple enjoyed a double date with friends Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley. Swift and Kelce wore corresponding looks as she slipped into a muted brown Stella McCartney blazer with dazzling embellishments and he wore a cardigan of the same colour. Underneath their respective pieces, she wore a black minidress with tights and leather Versace boots, while he went with a black tee and iridescent green trousers.
