Taylor Swift put a cozy spin on the red trend while watching the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The pop star showed up in support of her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who is now officially headed to his fourth Super Bowl.
Swift sported one of the team’s signature colors, wearing a cashmere crewneck from Guest in Residence, a brand started by one of her good friends, supermodel Gigi Hadid. The singer complimented her knit’s cherry hue with a bold red lip — specifically Pat McGrath’s MatteTrance Lipstick in the shade Elson.

Swift accessorized with gold jewelry including a Chiefs dog tag from BaubleBar, as well as rings by Mejuri and EB and Co. She added on a custom diamond tennis bracelet by Wove, which features both her and Kelce’s initials. Kelce also has his own version of the bracelet.
Swift has also struck up a friendship with Brittany Mahomes, wife of the team’s quarterback, Patrick. On Sunday, Mahomes opted for a leather colorblock coat featuring her husband’s last name and jersey number, completing her look with a red crocodile handbag by Saint Laurent.
Rouge hues are still in style this year after labels like Valentino, Carolina Herrera and Emilia Wickstead set the trend during the fall 2023 runway season. At the Golden Globes earlier this month, celebrities including Selena Gomez, Ayo Edebiri and Florence Pugh opted for shades of red, confirming that the fad is here to stay.
Rumors of Swift and Kelce’s relationship began circulating late last year after she attended a Chiefs game alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna. Since then, she’s appeared at several football games, wearing pieces from popular brands like Dôen, Ksubi and Stella McCartney.
Both Swift and Kelce went viral for their style in 2023, making Google’s list of most-searched celebrity outfits. After Swift’s relationship with Kelce was catapulted into the spotlight, the pop star’s game-day style became the subject of trending searches. Swift frequently sports the Kansas City Chiefs’ team colors of red, white and gold with help from trendy brands like Balenciaga and Area.
Thanks to his superstar S.O., Kelce’s style has also made headlines. Many Swifties suspect that Kelce is channeling her various “Eras” with his wardrobe, nodding to Swift’s “Evermore” album cover in plaid and wearing a matching KidSuper set with an aptly named “1989 Bedroom Painting” pattern.
