“Teen Mom” Star Kailyn Lowry Reveals New Look After Undergoing Breast Reduction Surgery
The reality star shared a photo on her Instagram Stories and asked fans if they wanted to see more breast reduction videos
Kailyn Lowry is showing off her new look after having breast reduction surgery.
The Teen Mom star, 32, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of herself wearing a supportive bra and throwing up a peace sign, per The U.S. Sun. She also revealed that she had the surgery earlier this week.
In the snap, which she captioned “4 days post op,” Lowry included a poll asking her fans, “Do you want breast reduction videos?” with answer choices being “YES” and “not really.” She has yet to post additional photos or updates about her procedure.
This isn’t the first time the reality star has talked candidly about having breast surgery.
Back in May, she was told by her doctor that she needed to lose 50 lbs. in order to get breast implants. The conversation happened over the phone during a plastic surgery consultation, and Lowry shared the story with her fans during the May 17 episode of her Barely Famous podcast.
“I want to get a boob job, right? I call around. I’m making these consultations to get a boob job. You know what they told me? They told me I need to lose 40 lbs.," she said. “So 40 or 50 lbs., more like 50, but maybe get away with 40 lbs., before they can even operate on me.”
The reality star said the experience was “extremely humbling” and emotional.

“I’ve been wanting to do this breast reduction, implants, lift, whatever it is,” Lowry continued. “[The doctor] was like, ‘Do you still want to schedule this?’ I’m literally sobbing. Already the water works have started.”
Lowry said she went ahead with the consultation for the surgery even though she admitted fitness had not been her priority at the time.
“I don’t even know if I can get my double chin done,” she said. “Truthfully, I’d want to do that at the same time as my boob job because why would I pay for anesthesia twice?”
On May 20, Lowry took to Instagram to clarify her previous comments, explaining that she was actually told her “BMI is entirely too high to operate."
"So when I did the math it comes down to needing to lose between 40-50 lbs.," she noted.
Back in January, Lowry shared her desire to try Ozempic to lose weight.
Speaking on her Baby Mamas No Drama podcast at the time, Lowry discussed "how hard it is to lose weight as an adult," and said she would like to try the popular type 2 diabetes prescription medication.
"How hard it is to lose weight as an adult, f--- my life. I'm scared," said Lowry, who had just given birth to twins in late 2023. "I'm ready for 2024 because I need to get Ozempic shots or something."
Lowry has seven children. She shares 1-year-old fraternal twins Verse and Valley and 2-year-old son Rio with her fiancé Elijah Scott. She is also mom to 14-year-old Isaac, whom she shares with her ex Jo Rivera; 11-year-old Lincoln, whom she shares with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; and 7-year-old Lux and 4-year-old Creed with her former boyfriend Chris Lopez.
