Tell Us Which Duo Had The Absolute Best Chemistry At The Movies In 2023, And That Includes Friends And Frenemies

One thing that can make or break a film is the leads' chemistry. Put simply, are the dynamics (be they romantic or friendly) believable? This year, there's been a fair share of movies with casts that just seem to have that spark when they're together on screen, and we want to know which ones stood out to you.

🚨 FYI, there are major spoilers below and in the comments. 🚨

Of course, it could be the stars of a romance movie. Maybe it's the painfully strong bond between Hae Sung and Nora as portrayed by Teo Yoo and Greta Lee in Past Lives, as I've been told. I need to see the film ASAP.

Or perhaps it's two actors like Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken who make it so fun to watch them try (or try not to try) to find their footing as a couple.

Maybe there was a buddy duo where you just know the actors had as much fun off screen as their characters did on screen, like Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edebiri in Bottoms.

Finally, consider if they weren't fictional characters at all. The best chemistry at the theater this year might just be between you and getting to watch Beyoncé or Taylor Swift perform their mega concerts on the big screen (whether you also got to go IRL or not).
