Tessa Virtue rocks Adidas pantsuit during weekend out: 'I’m borrowing that outfit'
She accessorized the look with silver drop earrings, a crossbody bag and black pointed-toe heels.
Tessa Virtue isn't letting work get in the way of fun.
On Monday, the Canadian ice dancer took to Instagram to share highlights from her weekend.
The Olympic gold medallist hit up Coffee Oysters Champagne cocktail bar in Toronto with a few of her friends. In the glamorous video, she filmed herself walking to the restaurant, against a wall of wine and champagne, and alongside her pals in a light-up photo-op.
For her night on the town, the athlete rocked a black and green Adidas pantsuit with a plunging neckline. She accessorized the look with silver drop earrings, a crossbody bag and black pointed-toe heels.
For glam, Virtue styled her hair in loose waves and added a touch of pink blush and lipstick.
In the caption, the 33-year-old revealed that while she spent the weekend doing schoolwork — potentially part of the Executive MBA program she's taking at Queen's University — she still made time for fun.
"Spent most of the weekend in class, but when I broke free I spent time with the best of the best," she wrote. "P.S. a moment for this pantsuit, please."
In the comments, fans went wild over the figure skater's look and loved that she made sure to have a work-life balance.
"Love us some work-life balance! Good times all around. This suit absolutely needed a moment!" commented a follower.
"So fun! Also, I’m borrowing that outfit," shared someone else.
"Looking fab, a queen!" added another.
"Love that pantsuit! You look stunning!" wrote a fan.
Earlier this month, Virtue revealed that she's engaged to Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly on a podcast.
Virtue explained that she met her beau through mutual friends and have kept their relationship low-key over the past few years.
Later in the episode, the ice dancer shared that in the past she used to be "guarded" when it came to her love life.
"I was very guarded for a long time, and I wouldn't give out my phone number, I wouldn't open up — I was very insular," she explained. "I think that's changed, though. I feel much more open now, and maybe that's just getting comfortable with who I am and what I want, and also being a good judge of character helps."
